Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and drive innovation through hackathons
- Implement security best practices and compliance protocols (SOC2, GDPR)
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and load testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Python, Java, or Go with distributed systems experience
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
- Strong knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- AWS/GCP certification or equivalent cloud deployment experience
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
