Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java/Python and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead code reviews, architectural planning, and DevOps pipeline optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative problem-solving culture
- Drive technical debt reduction and system performance improvements
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java or Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with fintech, payment systems, or high-transaction platforms preferred
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest) and TDD methodologies
