Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and drive technical excellence across the engineering organization
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture discussions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies and improve development workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database optimization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical initiatives
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
