Responsibilities
- Lead development of distributed microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Design scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Jenkins
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% SLA compliance
- Drive security-first development practices across teams
- Collaborate with product teams on roadmap prioritization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent with 5+ years backend experience
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Go, Python, Java)
- Proven track record with cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in distributed systems and databases
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
- Published open-source contributions or patents preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design examples
