Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Node.js, Python, and AWS services
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Lead technical sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Contribute to open-source projects and internal tooling
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Monitor system health and proactively address scalability challenges
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with test-driven development and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
