Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs to ensure system stability and performance.
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend or full-stack engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
