Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Java/Python on AWS infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize system performance to handle 10K+ RPS with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Drive technical debt reduction while maintaining agile development cycles
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and REST APIs
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker/K8s) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data structures and algorithms
- Track record of delivering production-ready code in fast-paced environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks (JUnit, PyTest)
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts
