Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Python and Go on AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/Redis) for high-traffic APIs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Go
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with testing frameworks (Pytest, Jest)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system design
