Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for clean, maintainable code
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and resolve complex scalability challenges
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or C#)
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
