Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Python/Go
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in distributed systems and microservices
- Expert proficiency in Python, Go, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven track record with AWS/GCP infrastructure and Terraform
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design contributions
