Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native applications on AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies
- Ensure CI/CD pipeline efficiency and implement DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
