Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems handling 10M+ daily transactions
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for 99.99% uptime across AWS/GCP
- Lead migration of legacy monoliths to containerized microservices
- Develop CI/CD pipelines reducing deployment cycles to minutes
- Contribute to open-source projects used by 500K+ developers
- Partner with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with cloud-native patterns
- Proven track record architecting solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Published patents or major open-source contributions preferred
- Experience leading technical initiatives for teams of 5+ engineers
