Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Python and Spring Boot
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Proven track record of mentoring technical teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Pytest) and TDD principles
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
