Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% availability SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and pair programming
- Drive CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Contribute to open-source projects with 10M+ developer community
- Lead incident response for production systems with <5-minute MTTR
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Proven track record of shipping production services at scale
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to high-throughput systems
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
