Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems handling 10k+ requests/sec
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in agile sprints
- Optimize microservices using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3)
- Drive CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins and GitLab
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade backend systems
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with strong algorithm skills
- Proficient with AWS infrastructure and serverless architecture
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles
- Track record of shipping scalable, high-impact features
