Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud infrastructure migrations to AWS with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis caching
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct system architecture reviews and propose scalable solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of leading technical projects from conception to deployment
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
