Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend systems using microservices architecture
- Lead technical initiatives, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability using cloud technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline deployment processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to complex problems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java, Python, or Node.js
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
