Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define technical requirements
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR, SOC2)
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technology roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical leadership abilities
