Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance backend services using Node.js and AWS
- Lead API development with RESTful and GraphQL protocols
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Drive DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming
- Participate in sprint planning and backlog refinement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Experience with fintech or SaaS products preferred
