The Opportunity
As part of our elite R&D division, you will be responsible for architecting scalable quantum systems that integrate seamlessly with existing cloud infrastructures. This role is pivotal in transitioning our infrastructure from prototype to production-grade stability by the target year of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of quantum computing solutions targeting the 2026 market release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical AI and machine learning models.
- Define the technical roadmap and scalability strategies for our quantum infrastructure.
- Optimize quantum algorithms to reduce error rates and enhance processing speeds.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers in advanced quantum programming and system design.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum hardware trends to inform strategic development decisions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Theory.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture, preferably within high-performance computing or quantum computing environments.
- Deep expertise in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects with clear deliverables and timelines.
- Strong understanding of quantum error correction and noise mitigation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site collaboration and conferences.
