Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Automate test cases using Selenium/Cypress while maintaining 90%+ test coverage
- Collaborate with product managers to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and severity ratings
- Lead cross-functional defect triage sessions with development teams
- Maintain test environments and perform smoke testing before releases
- Implement exploratory testing techniques to uncover edge cases
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with web/mobile applications
- Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Proficient with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in agile environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
