Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans covering functional, regression, and usability testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear, actionable details
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress frameworks
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups
- Maintain and improve test documentation, including test cases and checklists
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured) and SQL databases
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
