Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear, actionable bug reports
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to validate requirements
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for complex features
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and end-to-end validation in CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
- Mentor junior testers and champion QA best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python, Java)
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience with SQL for database testing and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter) and security testing basics
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in remote teams
