Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases across web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and defect management tools
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and test strategy discussions
- Validate software functionality against business requirements and technical specifications
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance product quality
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA/testing methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL database queries
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent a plus
