Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments
- Design test cases covering edge scenarios and user journey validation across web/mobile platforms
- Collaborate with developers during sprint planning and release cycles to ensure quality gates
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing frameworks
- Maintain and enhance test automation scripts using Selenium/Python
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and documentation precision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
