Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans using provided equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, automated test rigs)
- Document defects in JIRA with detailed reproduction steps and supporting data
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate product requirements
- Conduct regression testing on embedded systems and IoT devices
- Analyze test metrics to identify process improvement opportunities
- Maintain test environment calibration and equipment inventory
- Mentor junior testers on equipment utilization protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years QA/testing experience with hardware/software products
- Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, signal generators, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ISTQB Foundation certification preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for equipment maintenance
