Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards 24/7 during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using SOAR tools
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client systems
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security events
- Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and network protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
