Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications and actionable resolutions
- Automate regression tests using Selenium WebDriver and Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience issues
- Validate API functionality using Postman and REST-assured frameworks
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce bugs and validate fixes during sprint cycles
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test scripts and QA procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience with software development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (Python/JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and defect management workflows
- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and performance testing tools (JMeter)
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation and test data management
- Certification in ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent QA methodology training
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
