Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA with clear reproducible steps and severity ratings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for regression testing
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Maintain and improve QA documentation including test cases and user scenarios
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with proven track record in manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and database validation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent QA certification preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
