Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for critical user journeys
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, UX) to validate requirements
- Conduct exploratory testing and usability assessments on web/mobile applications
- Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity during test cycles
- Generate detailed test reports with actionable insights for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation certification a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
