Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test scripts across web/mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity/priority classifications
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Develop detailed test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives) to improve quality workflows
- Automate regression tests using Selenium/Cypress and maintain test frameworks
- Analyze test metrics to identify trends and recommend quality improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA experience with web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting (Python/Java)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in defect tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent quality assurance training
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
