Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and other industry-leading tools
- Document defects with detailed steps, expected results, and severity levels in JIRA
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes
- Analyze test data to identify trends and propose process improvements
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain test environments and ensure configuration consistency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manual and automated QA testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
