Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver and Cypress for regression testing efficiency
- Conduct compatibility testing across browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate responses against expected outcomes
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Maintain detailed test documentation and provide actionable quality metrics
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA testing experience in software development environments
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Expertise in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation and API testing
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
