Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, and usability aspects
- Execute manual and automated tests across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity levels and reproduction steps
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential usability issues
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks using Selenium/Cypress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience in SaaS or enterprise software
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (manual, automated, regression, performance)
- Experience with agile/Scrum development cycles and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
