Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts based on requirements
- Document defects with detailed steps, expected results, and actual outcomes using JIRA
- Perform regression testing on new features and product updates
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for quality improvements
- Maintain and update test documentation to reflect product changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software QA testing with exposure to manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with web and mobile application testing across multiple platforms
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing and validation
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
