Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress for regression and API validation
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolutions
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholder reviews
- Maintain and optimize test environments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA/testing experience with software development lifecycle
- Expertise in manual testing methodologies and automation tools (Selenium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and SQL queries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
