Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, and usability scenarios
- Execute manual and automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, and industry-standard tools
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity classifications
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and mobile devices
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers during sprint planning and retrospectives
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality metrics
- Maintain test documentation and continuously refine QA processes for efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress) and scripting languages (JavaScript/Python)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing and API testing using Postman
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
