Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and usability testing across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear reproducible steps and severity levels
- Automate test scripts using Selenium/Cypress to accelerate testing cycles
- Collaborate with Agile development teams during sprint planning and retrospectives
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user experience issues
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for product improvements
- Maintain and update test documentation to ensure alignment with evolving requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with software development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively
