Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to accelerate release cycles
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA with clear severity metrics
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and implement root cause solutions
- Maintain test environments and ensure data integrity for accurate validation
- Mentor junior QA team members on best practices and emerging testing tools
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve QA workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with proven track record in manual and automated testing
- Expertise in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex requirements
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent preferred
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
