Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust security protocols for equity options trading platforms and related financial systems
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and incident response for trading infrastructure vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to secure algorithmic trading models and options pricing engines
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks for financial systems
- Lead penetration testing and security assessments of trading applications and APIs
- Develop security automation tools for monitoring options market data integrity and transaction flows
- Mentor junior engineers on secure coding practices for financial software development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven experience in financial services or fintech
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP (or equivalent) required
- Deep expertise in securing trading platforms, options pricing engines, and market data systems
- Advanced knowledge of network security, encryption standards, and threat detection tools
