Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs with high precision using JIRA and defect tracking tools.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Automating regression tests using Selenium, Cypress, or Appium to improve testing efficiency.
- Performing manual and automated testing, including smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
- Conducting performance and load testing to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Mentoring junior QA testers and conducting code reviews for test scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database querying (SQL).
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
