Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test suites using Selenium/Cypress for CI/CD integration
- Lead defect management in JIRA with detailed severity analysis
- Collaborate with developers to implement test-driven development practices
- Conduct cross-browser compatibility testing on 15+ platforms
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and tool optimization
- Analyze test metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in QA testing with 2+ years in automation
- Expertise in Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail methodologies
- Strong SQL knowledge for database testing and validation
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT) or ISTQB Advanced Level
- Experience with API testing using Postman/SoapUI
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating test automation frameworks
