Role Overview:
As a QA Tester at Apex Innovations, you will bridge the gap between development and delivery, ensuring every release is flawless. Your attention to detail will directly impact user satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and prioritize bugs with high precision using JIRA and defect tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate product requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional agile teams to define acceptance criteria and QA strategies.
- Automate repetitive test scenarios using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to increase efficiency.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to implement effective fixes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product roadmap to ensure testing aligns with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance testing.
- Strong proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
