The Role:
As a QA Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and product teams. You will design automated test scripts, execute complex test scenarios, and drive the quality assurance process to ensure seamless user experiences. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution by the development team.
- Implement and maintain automated regression suites to ensure code stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define quality requirements.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability under high traffic.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a focus on Automation.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
