Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts, performing thorough manual testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are bug-free and user-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Execute comprehensive test plans for both web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Analyze application logs, error reports, and test results to troubleshoot complex defects.
- Collaborate with developers to identify root causes of issues and drive timely resolutions.
- Contribute to the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests.
- Report bugs with clear, reproducible steps and track them through to closure in JIRA.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in software testing.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger).
- Deep understanding of SQL and database queries.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
