Role Overview
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be the guardian of our product's integrity. You will work cross-functionally with product managers and developers to identify potential issues early, ensuring our software meets the highest industry standards before launch.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Develop and execute test plans for new features, regression testing, and system integration.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to troubleshoot bugs and implement effective fixes.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code.
- Perform database validation and API testing to ensure data integrity across the system.
- Analyze test results and metrics to improve testing processes and software reliability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Jest.
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying and validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
