Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Analyze requirements and write detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites using industry-standard tools.
- Track defects using JIRA and provide clear documentation for bug reproduction.
- Perform exploratory testing to discover edge cases and usability issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and bug tracking systems.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
