Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test automation strategies using Selenium, Cypress, and Appium
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing integration
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports for complex web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks and drive continuous improvement
- Implement performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) to ensure system scalability
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices in quality engineering
- Analyze test metrics to provide actionable insights for product optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in test automation
- Expertise in JavaScript/Python for test framework development
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation
- Proven track record of improving test coverage and reducing defect escape rates
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in financial or healthcare software testing highly desirable
