Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations on security incidents
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Respond to and remediate security breaches with minimal downtime
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry compliance standards (NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with incident response protocols and threat intelligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
