Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and TestNG
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and testing gaps
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and integrate automated tests into DevOps workflows
- Document test results and provide actionable insights to engineering leadership
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion quality initiatives through continuous improvement of testing processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 3+ years in automation testing
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent QA methodology preferred
- Proficient in SQL for database validation testing
